My story
I’ve had a passion for cooking since I was a young boy. Over the last 30 years, I worked my way up from dishwasher to executive chef, learning every side of the kitchen through hard work, discipline, and dedication.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in restaurants across the United States and had the opportunity to work under respected chefs including Emeril Lagasse and Food Network chef Maneet Chauhan. After serving as Executive Sous Chef at House of Cards in Nashville, Tennessee, I moved back to New Orleans a little over three years ago and decided to finally pursue a dream I had carried for years — startimy own spice company.
Mes Amis Spice Company was built around the idea of creating high-quality seasonings that truly work together. Our blends are thoroughly tested, carefully developed, and executed with the same standards I’ve carried through my career as a chef. These are not just spices bought and repackaged from other companies — they are crafted with purpose, flavor, and experience.
Gator’s High Spirits is our flagship seasoning, and it has already been very well received. I’m excited for everyone to enjoy our products, cook with them, and continue using them for years to come.
